my brother’s gotten really into the JROTC program and now he’s asking if he can go to some like…military boarding school for high school that costs like $40,000 a year which is more than tuition for brenau costs and um it sounds like my mother is actually considering this shit

yeah hi uh 

a) i’m the older child and i’m going to COLLEGE i’m not just being a brat wanting to get out of the house and become and army brat

b) he’s fucking 13 i’m OLDER

c) i’m a girl so uh ladies first

d) um WHAT

my mom’s like bitching constantly about “Oh but kelly even though you for $12,250 from brenau, and with hope that’s like $16,000 but that’d still be a lot of student loans are you sure you want to do that? it’s far away i’d miss you” blah blah blah

mom why are you saying all this shit to me but not to my bratty ass brother

he follows his friends to the bathroom and punches them and he gets in trouble for not doing his homework/projects and he gets in trouble for talking too much in class and um since when am i the problem child that’s being awful for wanting to go to a nice college and do stuff with my life

i hate that he’s put up on a pedestal because he wants to do army/rotc shit (which he is totally not cut out for, just saying like he already has PTSD basically idk how he thinks he’s gonna be a grunt in the infantry or whatever) and i want to do dance stuff so my family is like “yeah i guess that’s what she wants to do whatever”
