teachers don’t have grudges against students unless they’re a) hoodlums or b) constantly causing problems
it’s not that all his teachers hate him it’s that he’s a little cocky pain in the ass who thinks he’s smarter than all his teachers and tells them that and so he acts up in class and it’s HIS fault not the teachers it’s the fact that my brother has problems with authority or something

I highly disagree with that assumption. Some teachers are complete asses, and they definitely CAN hold grudges against students for absolutely no reason. It may not be that way for your brother, but it is that way sometimes.
