I highly disagree with that assumption. Some teachers are complete asses, and they definitely CAN hold grudges against students for absolutely no reason. It may not be that way for your brother, but it is that way sometimes.

Well, yeah I’m sure there are some teachers like that but he has mostly teachers that I know/have had in the past and oh my god. These teachers are like the coolest ever and I know my brother’s probably a constant pain in the ass 87% of the time based on the way he comes home and tells stories about them. “Oh, my Spanish teacher gave us ANOTHER dumb project” “My science teacher is so STUPID” “I had to correct my Georgia studies teacher today and she yelled at me for it and I was like ‘uh but I’m smarter than you’” and shit like that and I’m like dude, it’s okay for you to be confident in your intelligence or whatever but don’t be an asshole about it? Like, to be honest, I spent most of my biology and anatomy classes believing I was smarter than the teachers but I dealt with it by doing my work well and quickly instead of being a dick about it, ya know?
